Each year VRC connects individuals and groups with thousands of volunteer opportunities at almost 300 agencies.

VRC plays an essential role in assisting agencies to find volunteers necessary to carry out activities that are critical for a vital community, while helping individuals find meaningful opportunities related to their interests and skills.

Outreach

From high school students to retirees, VRC promotes volunteering by organizing and participating at special events and fairs.

Leadership Development – the next generation of volunteer leaders and philanthropists

The Young Professionals Committee (YPC) leadership development program is a unique opportunity for individuals with similar passions to come together and help make a difference as a team.  This translates into a great environment for young professionals under the age of 40, to dedicate their time and talents within the areas of fundraising, event planning, recruiting, education, marketing and public relations, to name a few.
