Each year VRC makes 2500 referrals to over 300 NYC-based partner agencies.

We play an integral role in New York City by connecting skilled, willing volunteers with the needs of nonprofit agencies.  Through our individualized, hands-on process, VRC works closely with our partner agencies to determine their needs and expectations, and conduct personal interviews with all prospective volunteers to determine their skills and interests.  This process, refined over our 33-year history, promotes good matches between volunteer and agency, creating tailored partnerships that frequently last over a long term.
